Provides hardware and software desktop support to end users in a Microsoft Windows Active Directory network environment. Primary job functions include responding to and resolving user request for desktop support and providing liaison support to other bank support groups. This position handles second tier support requests related to desktops, laptops, printers and other related peripherals. This is a hands-on position requiring extensive experience troubleshooting all hardware and software-related issues. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or Associates with equivalent work experience. Experienced in installing and supporting hardware configuration and Windows platforms. Minimum of 2 years experience supporting a Windows-base environment. Appropriate professional certification, such as MSCE, MCP and/or A+ preferred. Working knowledge of a broad range of technologies to include, but not limited to : Desktop computer hardware, network printers, network hardware and wiring, TCP/IP, DHCP, email (Outlook/Exchange), file and print servers, office productivity tool (MS Office), virus protection, wireless technologies, mobile messaging, and database systems.
