Job Duties: 40%: This position will focus mainly on Treasury analyses (liquidity and capital) and be responsible for accurately measuring and helping the Treasurer manage these positions. This includes updating current and forecasting future liquidity needs and capital adequacy and well as formulating strategies to manage the balance sheet. 40%: This position will also focus on internal Funds Transfer Pricing and Economic Capital Allocation. As these are key pieces to measuring profitability, this position will need to understand the detail behind these calculations and be able to explain results to non-Finance employees. 20%: Coordinate and guarantee timeliness and accuracy of all ALCO information for Treasurer. The duties above involve understanding the financial, mathematical, and accounting concepts behind the functions above as well as being able to gauge relevancy. Position requires self-learning, analyzing and creating without always being directed. Requires being able to simplify and explain concepts and results with non-Finance employees. Requires learning the QRM model and understanding the calculation of cash flows.
Experience/Education: 7+ years in a Finance or Treasury function preferred. Banking preferred. B.S. in Finance, Economics, or Math. Advanced degree preferred. Technical Knowledge/Skills Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word. QRM or another A/L software a plus.
