Responsible for selling Commerce Bank’s Commercial Card or Merchant payment processing products to commercial business clients and prospects. Based upon the level of the position, the individual will be targeting business sizes ranging in size of $250 M to $100MM in sales volume in order to achieve their annual sales goals.
Business is generated through the development of internal (Commerce Bank employees including but not limited to branch personnel, Commercial Lenders and Treasury Services Representatives) and external referrals (customer and other networks), use of data mart prospect lists as well as through self-generated leads. Individuals must be well organized, have a comprehensive understanding of the Pricing Model, be professional, utilize good communication skills, be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Commerce Bank, understand NACHA and/or Association’s Operating Rules, Regulations and Interchange requirements as well as various modes of processing in order to ensure new clients receive appropriate products and pricing programs to ensure satisfaction and account retention at acceptable profit margins for the bank.
